CERTIFICATES AND CIVIL RECORDS
Search and Retrieval of Dominican Certificates
The cost depends on the age of the record, the information available, and whether a search is required before requesting the official certificate.
Records After 1970
For records after 1970 when we have sufficient information to begin the search and locate the corresponding record.
Records Before 1970
For records before 1970 that may require a historical search or additional verification to locate the record.
Unknown Date or Advanced Search
For very old records, unknown dates, or cases with limited information about the place or registration details.
Official Certificate
Once the record has been located and verified, we can obtain the official certificate and provide the corresponding processing services according to the case.
Divorce searches use a different pricing structure. For divorces after the year 2000, searches start at US$95. For divorces before 1999, searches start at US$155.

DOMINICAN CITIZENSHIP BY DESCENT
Birth Transcription
For children of a Dominican father or mother born outside the Dominican Republic who need to register their birth with the Dominican authorities.
Includes the preparation and processing of the transcription, VIP service before the Central Electoral Board, and obtaining the corresponding Dominican birth certificates once the process has been completed.
The estimated processing time begins once the complete application has been submitted to the Central Electoral Board through the VIP service. Processing time may vary if the institution requires additional verification, documents, or corrections.
Cases requiring non-administrative corrections, additional documentation, or extraordinary procedures may result in additional costs. Special rates may apply to family members processed together.

Preparation of Documentation for Civil Weddings
General information about prices, additional documents, and preparation times for civil weddings in the Dominican Republic.
The base rate applies when neither party has been previously married and includes the preparation and processing of the documentation required for the civil wedding.
The service includes 1 official Dominican marriage certificate, review of the record, apostille, and standard postal shipping once the marriage registration has been completed.
Additional Services
May apply when documents related to divorces, deaths, prenuptial agreements, or other particular circumstances are required.
Available when the couple requires a second official marriage certificate.
Once all required documentation has been received and verified, the file can be prepared for submission within a period of up to 15 days.
The documentation must be submitted sufficiently in advance to coordinate and reserve the ceremony date. We recommend beginning the process at least 3 months before the planned wedding date.
It does not represent the total time until the wedding ceremony and does not replace the advance period required to reserve the ceremony date.
